Responsibilites will include:
- Direct responsibility for two planners, external transport and will need to influence and communicate to a wide variety of people within and outside of March operation
- To Optimise speed and maximise volumes at every opportunity
- Opportunity to help set March's operational, sales and capacity strategy
- Provide clear production schedlues to the production team
- Minimise downtime and change over to optimise production capacity
- Design and execute the structured and regular reporting system for production planning
- Regulary analyse the customer's contributions/margins and distribute data to all stakeholdersfollowing agreed achedule and formats
- Understand the results of the previous day's production and adjust plan accordingly
- Conduct additional analysis on site's production capabilites against customers requirements
- Collaborate across all functions, particulary operations and sales
- Effective stock management experience
- Excellent people management skills including effective communication at all levels and leadership ability
- High degree of interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Creative in solving scheduling problems to maximise efficiencies
- Ale to anaylse large amounts of data and present variances/trends to the management team
- Computer literate, adapability to use/develop existing systems
