Production & Planning Coordinator

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Main cover for the six machine plans when Planning Supervisor is absence/annual leave.
  • Tooling & Litho consumables management & purchasing
  • Outers stock management & purchasing
  • Outsource supplier management
  • Litho print process administration
  • Paper Reel consumption management
  • General Goods in receipting
  • Monthly stock take administration
  • Cover elements of the Planning team members role in absence/annual leave.
  • To work in accordance with all company certifications.
  • Actively engage and participate in all elements of Health and Safety requirements, whilst utilising the Health and Safety systems available.

The hours are 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 09:00 - 16:45 on Friday. 

The skill, knowledge and experience desired:

  • Someone who is trustworthy, dependable, and organised and is able to assess the importance of tasks, and balance workloads to achieve deadlines and manage expectations.
  • Being able to make proactive decisions when bottle necks occur in the supply chain and remain calm under pressure.
  • Being able to resolve material issues efficiently to ensure a smooth delivery to the customer.
  • Experience of managing a varied workload, mixed of routine and ad hoc tasks; able to achieve deadlines and presenting information in several different formats.
  • A great communicator and team player who is also able to work off their own initiative.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel to assist planning team decisions.
