Part Time Payroll/Accounts Assistant

We currently have a vacancy for a Part Time Payroll/Accounts Assistant to join the team at the March site

Main Duties:

  • Collate, check and process all payroll amendments including new starter payments, leaver payments, company sick pay, overtime and any other authorised payments by HR Manager or Financial Controller
  • Submission and processing of timesheets for payments in an effective and timely manner in line with group payroll deadlines
  • Maintain and pay expenses (weekly)
  • File documents in a timely manner
  • Accrual of overtime reporting on a monthly basis
  • Reconciliation of payroll on a monthly basis in line with group payroll deadlines
  • Ensure monthly authorisation by approved authorisers for March of the BACS report in line with group payroll deadlines 
  • Submit payroll National Statistic surveys
  • Receipt purchase orders from all areas of the business
  • Assist with administering SAP work cycles
  • Analysing various accounts for management and for audit purposes
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable / Account payable duties to support team absences
  • To assist with ad-hoc duties as and when required by line manager and senior management

The successful candidate will have, a can do attitude with excellent interpersonal skills, timekeeping, and the ability to build relationships. 

Be able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail, working to deadlines. Be a team player, who is naturally self-motivated, and have the ability to work under minimum supervision

SAP knowledge preferable but not essential, but a willingness to learn a must.
